Here are some terms or words used in kinesiology!

Amino Acids : Amino acids are the building blocks of protein, and protein is the building block of the brain. In that way , amino acids and proteins are the building blocks of life. They are more critical than any other nutrients, including vitamins, trace minerals and essential fatty acids.

Auric Fields : Energy field surrending the body. It is known to scientists as the "biofield". The biofield comprises an extremly weak but mesurable electromagnetic field with its own waveform, intensity and polarity that surrounds all living systems.

Chakras Color Therapy :Color Therapy is simply the therapy of using colors to heal. Each color associated with the 7 chakras has a strong ability to improve the health of that chakra.

Face Points For Pain relief : Another pain relief technique that can be effective for eliminating pain is tapping on meridians that are on the face.

Four Energy Circuits : This powerful technique is use when a person always feel tired and don't have the energy he/she used to.

Gait Reflexes : Over-tiredness is sometimes caused by a disturbance in the normal coordination of muscles used in walking, as observed in walking pattern distortions. The synergistic and antagonistic muscles are not synchronized. Just correcting your gait reflexes could really make your walking lighter and easier.

Heavy Metal Toxicity : Heavy metals are a common problem in our society, because our environment is so polluted. They can accumulate in the body. Because they are heavy, they never go away by themselves and you have to get rid of them. Signs and symptoms of heavy metal poisoning vary depending on the type and amount of metal involved. Some signs and symptoms of metal poisoning may include: Abdominal pain, numbness, tingling of hands and feet, anemia, headache, achy joints and muscles just to name a few of them!

Homocysteine : Homocysteine is a common amino acid in your blood. You get it mostly from eating meat. Elevated homocysteine levels in the body increased risk factor for the onset of many diseases such as: stroke, hardening of the arteries, blood clots and the development of Alzheimer's disease.

Hydration Test : When a person is not adequately hydrated the skin becomes less elastic. This causes the skin to be stressed when stretched. This is a pretest that I do before each session of kinesiology to ensure accurate information when testing. A person that is dehydrated will test weak, after drinking some water and hydrated the person will test strong!

Ileocecal Valve Correction : The ileocecal valve (ICV) is the joining point between the small and large intestines. It has two functions:

  1. It stops the small intestine contents from passing into the cecum before the digestive processes are completed.
  2. It acts as a barrier to prevent the return of bacteria-laden materials from the large bowel, (colon), into the small bowel where they would be toxic to the body.

The ICV should open at the proper time to allow the contents of the small intestine to enter the large intestine. It should then remain closed to prevent reflux of the intestinal contents to enter the small intestine. That is why it is so important to have your ICV check if you have some of the symptoms like:neck stiffness, sciatica, pseudo sacroiliac strain, sudden low back pain, diarrhea and constipation just to name a few.

Remember that anyone with these symptoms does not necessarily have an ICV problem.

Indicator Muscle : we use an indicator muscle in kinesiology to help us in our assesment. The indicator muscle could be any muscles in your body but in general we use the anterior deltoid because it is easily accessible. When an Indicator Muscle test weak for example for a Chakra, it is telling us that this Chakra need to be balance.

Injury Recall Technique : Gentle procedure used following a recent or ancient injury or trauma. IRT restores muscle balance to pre-injury status, often dramatically relieving pain and restoring range of motion.

Intercostal Reset Technique : A technique that can improve breathing capacity and breath holding time, which nearly everyone can benefit from.

Ionization Test:Test to verify that your ions are balances. The left nostril specializes in extracting negative ions out of the air and the right nostril specializes in extracting positive ions. About every twenty minutes, our body switches from predominantly taking air in from one nostril to the other. This switching from right to left inhalation ( alternate Nostril Breathing) is one of the body’s ways of keeping its negative and positive polarities balanced. When one nostril is clogged, the ionization is thrown out of balance. Our environment can also create imbalances. Air-conditioners, internal combustion engines and electric motors put off positive ions. Lack of vegetation decreases negative ions, while asphalt and concrete increase positive ions. Friction, like walking on synthetic carpet, increases positive ions. Water drops fracturing increase negative ions, which is one of the reasons people like the ocean and waterfalls. Deficiency in negative ions is more common.

Meridian Trace : Meridian Tracing are very helpful for balancing the body energy. Following a meridian in the normal flow direction is strengthening, while tracing in the opposite direction will calm and sedate the meridian. Never trace the heart meridian in the opposite direction.

Pain Tapping : This technique has proven very beneficial in controlling severe pain. It is most effective with a traumatic type of pain, such as fractures, sprains, tooth extraction, etc. The relief can be as short as one hour, but usually lasts from four to twelve hours. In some cases where the condition has completely healed, or where there should be no pain, such as phantom limb, the relief is sometimes permanent.

Resetting The Body Clock : This technique is use when the body is not in sinchronization with the time of the day it is.

SIBO : Stand for (Small Intestine Bacterial Overgrowth) This where I test for bacterias in the small intestine.

Surrogate Testing: It allows to test someone who is not able to offer resistance in an energy test. It could be a sick person, a toddler or even a pet.

Neurological Switching: When our neural circuits get overloaded, an electrical scrambling or neurological confusion known as “switching ” can occur. If we started testing without correcting this neurological disorganization, we could get inaccurate results.

Trigger Point Therapy : Therapy that is specifically designed to alleviate the source of the pain through cycles of isolated pressure and release.

Tuning Forks : Tuning fork frequencies are effective tools for use in Sound healing.
